Magic exists, and I just unleashed a wave of dark power on the world. Right before I found myself in the slammer for tomb-raiding.Totally my luck. Then walks in a man with raven-dark hair and emerald eyes. He controls the guard and gets me out. He’s sexy, powerful, a little aloof . . . and other. A vampire. Turns out, I’m different too. I’m magical, and a dark artifacts hunting coven wants to team up to find the object that unleashed evil. The object I unearthed. The coven seems cool, except for the vampire. Though I’m drawn to him, he’s also kind of a jerk, and dangerous, a fact he proves time and time again.  But I’ve never been one to back down from danger, and I’m not going to start now.
