Freshwater ecosystems are important because they provide us water for drinking; energy and transportation; recreation, like boating and fishing; and many jobs, like fishermen and researchers. This title allows students to realize the importance of how this delicate biome supports the survival, growth, behavior, and reproduction of all the plants and animals that call it home.
