I read the reviews after ordering this book. This is early Patterson, and this book is not even closely as exciting as his most recent books. Lou Diamond Phillips is what made this book even remotely listening to. He's great, as a narrator. The story was convoluted, and just full of gore and violence. I really didn't get to know the characters at all, which is what I do like about Patterson-- how he builds his characters. From now on, I'll be sure to check the publication date before ordering this author's books again.

disappointing

A VERY disappointing - a waste of time and money! I always wondered why Patterson co-authored many of his books. Now I know why. The plot is disjointed and without much investment . I would ask for my money back but ABN doesn't have the policy Audible does.
