Scott Evers #2: The Cards in the Deck
A Scott Evers Action Thriller

Scott Evers survived the conspiracy that dragged him back into the shadows. The shadows are not finished with him. A new trail begins in North Africa and moves onto the Mediterranean, where suspicious cargo, covert operators, hidden agendas, and the remains of something that should have died with the last mission are converging on Malta. Then Edie reappears. She knows Scott's world because she once belonged to it. She knows how he thinks, and Scott knows better than to trust easy answers from anyone who understands him that well. As the mission moves through ports and ships toward a threat capable of crossing borders faster than governments can react, everyone has a card hidden. The closer Scott gets to Malta, the clearer one thing becomes: this game started long before he sat down at the table. Restored. Revised. Relentless.
