Synopsis

Scarface follows Tony Guarino, who rises from low level gangster to top lieutenant to mob boss intent on dominating the illegal liquor trade in Chicago during 1920s Prohibition by any means necessary. Along the way he must avoid assassinations by rivals, crooked cops, corrupt district attorneys, a couple femme fatales, and his own brother who rises to lieutenant in the police department.

About Armitage Trail

Maurice R. Coons, known by the pen name Armitage Trail, was an American pulp writer best known for his 1929 novel Scarface, based on the life of gangster Al Capone which was adapted as the 1932 film Scarface directed by Howard Hawks and produced by Howard Hughes.  

About Peter Giles

Peter Giles is an actor with extensive credits in film, television and theater. His narration of bestselling author Michael Connelly’s Lincoln Lawyer audiobooks won Audie awards in 2021 and 2011. Peter also narrates the Detective Michael Bennett series for James Patterson.
