Quotes

“Narrators Lynn Wright and Alastair Haynesbridge combine their talents to breathe life into the romance between Tessa Harper and Ford Maddox.… Wright and Haynesbridge seamlessly alternate passages, with Wright narrating from Tessa's point of view and Haynesbridge from Ford's. Both narrators embody Tessa's no-nonsense, capable personality. As the two grow closer, Wright and Haynesbridge transition their voices from combative to more playful tones. Wright and Haynesbridge's strong performance makes for an enjoyable listening experience.” AudioFile Magazine“Probst paces the transition from enemies to lovers perfectly, with a hero and heroine whose snappy dialogue and gentle bickering rings true. A solid supporting cast—especially the returning stars of previous books—adds charm. Readers will cheer Tessa and Ford along their road to happily ever after, even when that eventuality seems remote.” Publishers Weekly
