Returning to What Matters
Choosing Kindness again and again.

Returning to What Matters. Choosing Kindness again and again.

There are moments when life looks fine on the outside.

Work is progressing.
Responsibilities are being met.
Life keeps moving forward.

And yet...
something feels slightly out of alignment.

Not broken.

Not lost.

Just quietly disconnected.

For many years I focused on creating, solving problems, and bringing ideas to life. Working in my backyard shed, I developed BetterBlocks, a children's construction toy that went on to sell hundreds of millions of pieces around the world.

From the outside, it looked like success.

But success has a way of asking unexpected questions.

The most important one for me was simply:

What truly matters?

This audiobook isn't a book of instructions.

It isn't about becoming someone else.

It's a conversation.

A collection of stories and reflections about success and failure, kindness and anger, family, persistence, and the quiet process of finding my way back to what mattered most.

Along the way, I discovered something unexpected.

Persistence isn't just about pushing through.

Sometimes it's about slowing down long enough to notice what life is trying to teach us.

If you've ever found yourself wondering whether there's a gentler, more meaningful way to live...

If you've experienced success but still felt something missing...

Or if life has quietly invited you to begin again...

I hope these stories feel like we're simply sitting together over a cup of coffee, sharing what we've learned along the way.

You don't need to agree with everything I say.

Take what's useful.

Leave what isn't.

And perhaps, together, we can keep returning to what matters.

With Gratitude
Warren
