Praying to Get Things Done
How God Uses Your Active Prayer to Accomplish His Purpose

Prayer can bring us comfort and personal peace, but if that's all there is to our prayer lives, we are neglecting a vital aspect of God's gift of communication with him—praying to get things done.Backed by Scripture and extensive research, Dr. Kie Bowman reveals the living and active nature of prayer that extends our influence beyond the walls of our own hearts to permeate every aspect of our lives, every corner of our society, and every issue of the day. Through biblical, historical, and contemporary stories, he reveals the power of prayer to ignite change, energizing and equipping you to follow Jesus's example of prayer to seek and know God's will; fight the enemy; make wise decisions; pray through feelings of defeat and discouragement; and understand how to respond when God says no.You'll also expand your comprehension and appreciation of the power of corporate prayer, learn how to effectively conduct a prayer meeting, and more. Because some things in life simply will not happen until we pray.
