Coach George Allen got his Master of Physical Education from the University of Michigan and trough a circuitous route, he became the top defensive coach and coordinator for the Chicago Bears where he became famous for the Bears 14-10 NFL Championship over the NY Giants in 1963 where the players awarded George “the Game Ball” and the song “Hooray for George, Hooray at Last, Hooray for George, He’s a Horse’s Ass!!!”
