About Nicholas Long

Nicholas Long, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Pediatrics and director of pediatric psychology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children's Hospital. He is an expert in the areas of parenting and parent education with numerous research articles, book chapters, and books. A licensed psychologist, Dr. Long has held leadership roles in numerous state and national organizations, and is the founder of the Center for Effective Parenting, which facilitates the dissemination and implementation of knowledge and resources on parenting. Additionally, he is the director of the Arkansas Home Visiting Network's Training Institute, providing training to home visitors throughout Arkansas.
