Winifred Conkling is a freelance writer specializing in history and health and consumer topics. The author of more than thirty nonfiction books, she lives in northern Virginia with her husband, three children, a dog, two rats, a horse, and quite a few squirrels and chipmunks in the backyard.
Christine Kiphart is a classically trained singer with a lifetime of experience in storytelling and performance.
