Synopsis

When Jenny McCarthy published Louder than Words, the story of her successful efforts to save her son, Evan, from autism, the response was tremendous, including a #3 rank on the New York Times bestseller list. But what she hadnt anticipated was the overwhelming response from other parents of autistic children who sought her out to share their own stories of success. No two autistic children heal in exactly the same way. And in her new book, Jenny expands her message to share recovery stories from parents across the country, showing how each parent fought to find her own childs perfect remedy of interventions. Along the way, Jenny shares her own journey as an autism advocate and mother, as well as the continuing progress of her son, Evan. Emotional and genuinely practical, Mother Warriors will inspire a generation of parents with hope.

(the playboy bunny- I am thinking to myself- yeah, how's her PHD going?) "Something like that." He went on to ask why? Why are you reluctant? So I had to think abou......more

But while listening to it, I find she knows her stuff and she referred to others who have had experiences similar to hers, interviewed doctors, and explained facts. I think she wrote thi......more
