Born in Oregon in 1952, American author, Lisa Jackson, began her career in 1983 with her book, The Twist of Fate, and is still presently writing. She is a number one author on The New York Times bestselling list, writing more than 85 published novels. (She also uses the pseudonym of Susan Lynn Crose.)
As with many authors, Lisa began writing when she was a struggling mother, out of necessity to put food on the table. At that time, she probably did not realize that she would end up with a writing career putting her neck deep in romantic, murder mysteries. Lisa is best known for taking her readers to "the edge of sanity...... and back". Dangerous secrets, deadly passions, lies, clues, personal relationships.......all intertwined to create the terror and madness that can exist in the world.
Lisa is now a typical spoiling grandmother who loves her grandchildren and her little pug dog named Jackie-O-No. She loves old rock and roll, pop, and new country music. She leads a pretty quiet, fulfilling life in her native state of Oregon.......time with family, walks with her sister (also an author), coffee, crossword puzzles and great TV.

Balancing act I like the story because the characters are strong and independent. So many people write stories about one character being weaker. This is about two equals who find each other.......more
