About Alan Titchmarsh

Alan Titchmarsh is known to millions through his career as a television presenter of shows including Love Your Weekend, Love Your Garden, Ground Force, Gardeners' World, The Alan Titchmarsh Show and ITV's Spring Into Summer. He has written more than forty gardening books, as well as eleven novels and three volumes of memoirs. No offence intended to Alan but these poems are not the best. But despite the clunkiness and insistent listing of the names of flowers, there's a lot of warmth in here. Alan's introductions are generous and high-spirited and certainly have a lot of charm. Plus there are one or two absolute bangers.......more
