Synopsis

Jordan Weston's life since high school has big goals—to someday own her own theater, and to stay far away from her home town of Magnolia, South Carolina. Magnolia holds bitter memories of her mother's abandonment, a woman who spent her life chasing nonexistent perfect men. Jordan refuses to end up like her mother. She doesn't need a man in her life. She only needs her career.

Said career could get a boost when she inherits her grandmother's estate in Magnolia, but the house needs repair before she can sell it. Unfortunately, the only person who can help her out is Sam Tanner, the boy from high school she could never forget. He's grown into one devastatingly handsome man who still makes her pulse race and her body think of hot sex. But she won't give in to her desires for Sam.

Sam Tanner's first marriage ended because he wouldn't fulfill his ex-wife's desires of metropolitan life. And when uptight big city girl Jordan Weston walks back into his life, he's convinced the only way to exorcise the ghost of a dream is to indulge in his desire for Jordan.

Fate and love conspire to alter the destiny of these two dreamers, resulting in an unforgettable Magnolia summer.

Contains mature themes.
