Synopsis

From R. Emmett Tyrrell, Jr., founder and editor-in-chief of The American Spectator, comes the first focused analysis of former First Lady and current United States Senator Hillary Clinton. A main selection of the Book of the Month Club, Madame Hillary is a thought-provoking examination of one of the most polarizing American politicians of all time. After the tremendous success of her book, Living History, Senator Clinton was sharply criticized by conservative personalities. But the objections to her and her book lacked cohesiveness. Now Tyrrell, Jr. delivers a persuasive argument that Senator Clinton is a power-hungry radical with a hidden agenda who seduces voters with her intelligence, charm, and carefully crafted public persona. Madame Hillary promises to open eyes and become one of the most hotly debated books in recent history.

I read this after Donald Trump became president so this is old news. There's just a point when you tire of reading this woman's scandals, and lies, and corruption. For her to be walking around as a free woman can only be contributed to the fact that she sold her soul to the devil...no other explanat......more

A conservative diatribe against Hillary written in 2003. I read this book in 2020, and it was an interesting forecast on how she might proceed to become President. Though I am not a Trump advocate, I do believe had she become President instead, it would have been worse for the country.......more

As usual with books the arch-conservative and main man at The American Spectator, this not a balanced review of Mrs. Clinton. I picked it up during her attempt to win the Democratic primaries that Obama took, so it is dated, too. It is funny to read of Giuliani and Spitzer as being her possible neme......more
