Synopsis

"All I really want tonight is you."

British musician Tim Wentworth trades his London flat for an apartment in NYC so he can record with a promising American band, but he arrives in Manhattan to learn the gig has been canceled. With no job and a two-month stay in the States, he wonders if the trip has been a waste of time, until he meets charming and talented jewelry designer Jenna Bradford.

Unlike the groupies who throw themselves at Tim after shows, Jenna couldn't be less impressed by his music credentials. Bad experiences have led her to have a strict "no musicians" policy. But when Tim rescues Jenna from an obnoxious drunk, she bends her rules and they embark on a courtship where the nights are passionate and their feelings for each other are impossible to ignore. While they try to find a way to prolong their time together, a family tragedy forces Tim to return to England. Jenna and Tim must each decide how far they're willing to go to see if their whirlwind romance can lead to a lifetime of love.

"London Calling" is a stand-alone New Adult Romance with an HEA.

About Karen Booth

Karen Booth is a midwestern girl transplanted in the South, raised on '80s music and repeated readings of Forever by Judy Blume. Karen writes steamy contemporary romance, almost always about the dreamy guy you never thought you'd get. Her stories are full of breathless kisses, tearjerker moments, messy family dynamics, and more than a few things she's glad her grandmother never read.

Karen is cofounder of Seasoned Romance, a reader and author group devoted to the promotion of romance with characters age thirty-five-plus. She has been a finalist for RT Magazine's Series Romance of the Year and Gold Seal of Excellence, the National Excellence in Romance Fiction Award (NERFA), the Booksellers Best Award, and the Holt Medallion. Her books have been translated into seventeen languages.

When Karen isn't creating fictional dream men and the women who test them, she's listening to everything from Otis Redding to Duran Duran with her kids, honing her Southern cooking skills (she makes some mean collards), or sweet-talking her astoundingly supportive husband into making her a Dark 'n' Stormy.

So I really love books that transport me places, and this was one of those books. It made me want to visit all the places they did, and it didn't hurt that I am a little obsessed with England. This book is a light, fun read that will make you feel something and want to travel.......more
