Synopsis

What do a mysterious necklace, forbidden Blood Magic rituals, and a sarcastic Nocturne boy with the face of a fallen angel all have in common? Me, apparently.Since I started school at Nocturne Academy, strange happenings have befallen me. The weird key-shaped necklace I found at a flea market chokes me every time I try to take it off. Also, a tall, blindingly beautiful and bitingly sarcastic Nocturne has the lock that matches it.His name is Griffin Darkheart and--like this freaking necklace--I can't seem to stay away from him, though he's being Censured for mysterious crimes. Among a student body composed of vampires, witches, were-dragons, and fairies, I no longer know what my future holds. To heck with graduating with honors--I'm just hoping to graduate alive! Nocturne Academy is full of deadly dangers. And I've already got a target on my back...

Readers who love Bully romance, brooding vampires, were-dragons, witches, warlocks, fairies, and fae will sink their teeth into Nocturne Academy where there are dark secrets, forbidden magic, and determined heroines just trying to survive.

James Moriarty and his younger sister, Moria, are sent to an exclusive East Coast boarding school, where they meet Sherlock Holmes. Only these characters are, apparently, descendants of the originals; it's the present day, and they're all teenagers. James is the focus of a great deal of attention at t......more

Wowwowowowowowowow This was the best mystery series I have ever read! I saw NONE of the twists coming, and I am obsessed with Sherlock Holmes so I usually call every plot twist in every book I read! I screamed out loud at some parts during the 2nd and 3rd books, and the characters were just amazing......more

Although I enjoyed this book, I felt it paled in comparison to Peter and the Starcatchers, and I honestly don't find myself likely to finish this series any time soon. It's cute, but not terribly memorable. I found the pace to be a bit slow, and overall this was just not a huge stunner for me.......more
