I read this book back when it was first published in the early 90s and all these years later, it's still a wonderful fantasy about the faerie world that inhabits Ottawa, Canada. It's a modern intertwining of the "Jack" stories from fairy tales. For me, this is one of Charles de Lint's best books.......more
