I think I am done with Jance and her hero in this series, J.P. Beaumont (Beau). I just can't get past his propensity to bed the gorgeous victim/suspect, who is in awe of his sexual prowess and falls madly in love with him in, oh, say, a few hours. Serviceable 2nd in the J.P. Beaumont series...I've enjoyed the novels from later in the series, so now I'm digging into the ones I've missed...I do enjoy getting the full "background" of characters & situations that are just background filler in the later novels...J.P. is drawn into an investigation......more
