Synopsis

At the time of a passing comet in the sky, while the world is at a turning point and the industrialization of Victorian England is affecting lives, Willie Leadford is a young man facing personal crises of life. A breakdown in his employment, social beliefs, and relationship initially turns him towards a trail of vengeance against those he holds responsible. And then “The Change” occurs.

About H. G. Wells

H. G. Wells (1866–1946) was born Herbert George Wells in Bromley, England. Wells came from a working class background. His first novel, The Time Machine was an instant success and Wells produced a series of science fiction novels which pioneered our ideas of the future. His later work focused on satire and social criticism. Wells forecasted the rise of major cities and suburbs, economic globalization, and aspects of future military conflicts.

About Gregory Dwyer

Gregory Dwyer is a New Zealand–born Australian voice actor. He spent twenty-four years working internationally in theatre, film, television, and radio before a hiatus of twenty-two years, eighteen of which was spent as a Forensic Crime Scene Examiner. Now, he has returned to performing as a voice actor specializing in audiobooks.
