I loved this book so so much !! Harlem is such a survivor man I salute her for everything she went through and getting out of it. I truly enjoyed this book. Poor Harlem, suffered so much as a young adult. She was broken, tortured and felt abandoned, but the lies and new discoveries gave her hope. Harlem took her power back. Great ending to such a tragic story.......more

I was initially intrigued by the coming of age of Harlem. I didn't understand her tolerance for her parents. I didn't understand the love story. I wanted to know more. It ended violently. I gave it 4 stars because I couldn't give three and a half.......more

Good read but entirely too dark and sad for me. It did have a HEA but the triggers were a lot.......more
