Gumshoes on Parade 1

Drop That Gun! presents GUMSHOES ON PARADE, a compendium of razor-sharp short stories from the Golden Age of Pulp Crime Fiction. These classics from the 1930s and 1940s entertained millions of people. For the price of one thin dime, magazines printed on cheap pulp paper thrilled the reading public with stories about detectives--both police officers and private eyes--who risked their hides in service to the rule of law. Detectives earned the nickname "gumshoes" because many a sleuth wore rubber-soled shoes to help silence their footsteps while on the prowl. We got a big kick out of narrating these snappy stories. We hope you come back for more!
