Synopsis

Just a moment ago on the cosmic scale, a living creature began to wonder who it was, where it had come from, and where it might be going. Thousands of years of evolutionary progress have delivered the human species to this precise moment today when each act of individual improvement contributes to a new stage of evolution, a new kind of existence of earth.

At a time when the need for spiritual connection and hope in the world is profound, God and the Evolving Universe portrays a new vision of human possibility. Our ordinary way of being in the world can suddenly blossom into the extraordinary. Daily awakenings—those brief glimpses of a higher intelligence, of a destiny that wants to be actualized in us—become the stuff of compelling shifts to a larger sense of self. Inner wakefulness will lead to discoveries about our untapped capacities for extraordinary life.

A bold new work that unites the planetary and the personal in one broad stroke, God and the Evolving Universe describes a human species that is evolving by small and large steps toward epochal change. Global perspectives of evolutionary change paired with exercises that help readers develop their personal abilities create the foundation for transcendence to the next level of human potential.

You know when you have read just too many books, when the new ones, or is it the really old ones you stumble across, start to repeat the same thing over and over again. I did like this book, I had read the rest of the series so I thought, okay give it a try. I also became quite the Theology research......more
