Gentle Lake Memories

The Armstrongs and Nichols families spent almost all of their summers at Lake Burton and many weekends as it was a convenient drive north of their Atlanta suburban homes. The two families had led separate lives until they became lakeside neighbors. Over the years their families grew close spending so much time together during the summers.The bond would never be broken over the decades.  The lives of the families remained intertwined through life’s challenges and celebrations in spite of geographic separation and moments of despair. For each of them, life was no longer about what had been lost but about what they had found—and what they continued to build together: love, connection, and hope for generations to come.
