This is very much the sequel to the book ahead of it in the series: it opens with Shadow being swept away in the flash flood that ended SHOW AND TELL. Talk about family drama!!! Fun book that added new characters to the series and some serious curve balls I didn't see coming. I'm really glad Amy Shojai promises not to kill animal characters. It would be horrible to loose these characters (she sure kills off the humans!) These are just great books.......more
