She writes under her own name and also under a pseudonym of Kinley MacGregor. Sherrilyn Kenyon has written urban fantasy and paranormal romance, the Dark Hunter series being her best known work. Kinley MacGregor writes historical pieces with paranormal elements. She has 70 million copies of her books in print, where they have appeared at the top of many bestselling lists.

I absolutely loved this book. I didn't want to put it down, but with two kids under the age of 5, I had to make myself so I could get some sleep to make it through the day. However, during the day, I'd find whatever time I could to squeeze in a few pages. I was done in 3 days, pretty impressive with my rug rats always demanding my attention!
