As I cannot find the third book in the series(Alice's girls), I was delighted to find that this one tidied up all the loose ends. With the showing of such programmes as Land Girls and Home Fires, this series is certainly topical.......more

Nice wrap up of the whole series, although it wasn't particularly focused on Evie. Hers was the biggest story, but it definitely features an ensemble.......more
