Synopsis

Self-publishing a book can be easy, but making it as a successful author is difficult and a lot of work. Marc Alan Edelheit has published nine fantasy novels in four years, ten books, if you include this one, and moved well over 300,000 eBooks while racking up over 60,000,000 Kindle Unlimited page reads.

In this book, he shares the secrets of his success and what he has learned through trial and error as an indie that put him on the path to success. His goal is to share his knowledge with others so that they can make informed decisions about their own writing and publishing paths.

This book is not a plodding, painfully detailed treatise on how to write and market a novel. Instead, this book, which can be for the beginner or seasoned author, is more of a high-level overview of what every writer must do and have in place to increase the chances of being successful in the current marketplace. Marc has included the tips and tricks of the trade that helped him reach the status of an Amazon Bestselling Author.

Marc provides lists of marketing tools and publishing services among many other useful resources to help give the aspiring indie author the edge to acquire and retain engaged readers. This book includes nearly everything he wished he would've known before he self-published.

About Marc Alan Edelheit

Marc Edelheit is an avid reader and accomplished author that spends his days-and nights-dreaming and writing about all things fantasy and sci-fi. His many books include the Tales of the Seventh series and the Karus Saga series. Marc has a bachelor's degree in science and obtained a master's in education as a reading and writing specialist along with a masters in administration. After several years of moonlighting as a writer, Marc applied his experience as a business leader in the healthcare industry to his writing career to become a fulltime author in 2018.

Marc has traveled the world, from Asia to Europe, even at one point crossing the border at Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin toward the end of the Cold War. He is the ultimate history fan and incorporates much of that passion into his work to bring greater realism to his books.
