Though humanoid in appearance, Eden Black is 100% alien. She's a Raka, a golden one. She's also a spirit walker and deadly assassin. Now she's been ordered to destroy a group of slavers, other-worlders who are abducting humans and selling them on other planets. When she fails to eliminate her first target, she's given a new partner -- Lucius Adaire, a tough as nails, hard ass slayer who considers a female assassin "amusing."
