This is another excellent novel from George Pelecanos who demonstrates once again that he knows the seamier side of Washington, D.C. inside and out and can portray it better than anyone else. The book Drama City is an aberration for George Pelecanos. One of the two main characters is actually a woman! Having a woman as a main player is almost unheard of for Pelecanos.
