Author Bio

American author, and Ohio born, Linda Castillo, chose the thriller genre as the style of her novels. She penned her first novel at the age of thirteen. A bit surprising, Castillo chose Ohio Amish country as the setting for her debut novel, "Sworn to Silence", which began her Kate Burkeholder series. She then added some romance and romantic thriller novels.

Castillo has had thirty books published by three different New York publishing houses. Her books have won her several awards, including the prestigious Rita award. She has also been on the NYT best seller's lists and the USA Today lists as well as recognized internationally.

Castillo enjoys trail riding and barrel racing in her free time. She lives with her husband and pets in Texas.
