Not realizing it was part of a series, I found it hard to follow all the story lines. A lot of time there seemed to be no connection between the lines. I will try another and see what happens.......more

I don't mind reading out of order but I have found with trilogies that they are best understood if they are read in order... so I waited for the 2nd book in this trilogy, Dead Silence.
