Synopsis

A novel of searing suspense that asks: How many lies can one family endure before it all comes tumbling down? Alice’s marriage to a wealthy, controlling businessman, Carl, has been troubled for years, and her adult daughters keep their distance. But now, with Carl’s long-term drug addiction spiraling into a crisis, her teenage son is falling in with a bad crowd. And Carl’s business partner is making threats as their company descends into financial disarray. In the midst of all this, Alice has allowed herself one source of comfort: a relationship with another man. But will it be a lifeline, or lead to the final collapse of this house of cards?

Crash has quite a few plot lines but that’s where it fell flat because at some poin......more
