Closing the Deal

I call him a viper.
Sure, he's gorgeous, a young billionaire, and a power player in the London property scene, but I've known Rafe Hawkes my whole life. The partying playboy is like a snake on the prowl for prey when it comes to women. Looking for that first strike and the ability to hook a woman in with his charm and good looks.
But there's one woman he'll never get his fangs into. And I'm proud to say that's me.

Rafe is like a thorn in my side. Ever present, thanks to our friend circle, and utterly annoying. Whilst Rafe would never date a curvy perfumer, he lives to get under my skin and annoy me because it's practically a sport for him.

Not that I completely mind dishing it back to him, of course. We've fallen into this weird relationship of living to antagonize each other.

I thought I would always be content with that . . . until one night changes everything between us. Everything as I know it has completely turned upside down.

And I'm not sure how I'm going to handle it.
