About Natasha Donovan
Natasha Donovan is a Métis award-winning illustrator. Her work includes the Mothers of Xsan series (written by Brett Huson) and the graphic novel Surviving the City (written by Tasha Spillett), which won a Manitoba Book Award and received an American Indian Youth Literature Award (AIYLA) honor. About DeLanna Studi
DeLanna Studi is an actress, voiceover artist, and proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation. She wrote and performed And So We Walked, a play based on retracing her family's footsteps along the Trail of Tears with her father, which has been produced at Triad Stage and Portland Center Stage. The recipient of the 2016 MAP Fund Grant and a Cherokee Preservation Foundation Grant, she serves as chair of SAG-AFTRA's National Native Committee.
About John Ross
John Ross is a translator specialist for the Cherokee Nation Education Services, where he contributes to the development of educational materials for all departments of the Cherokee Nation. Raised in a rural Cherokee community, he is bi-literate in Cherokee and English. The recipient of the 2014 Cherokee National Treasure Award, he is a member of Crescent Valley Baptist Church.
