Chick Stories
A Memoir of Adventures Lived, Laughter Shared, and Lessons Learned with My Girlfriends

Travesties, tragedies, and comical calamities abound in a series of essays rich with historical and cultural context.
From bats in the attic to alligators in the bayous, join Patti M. Walsh as she discovers the power of saying YES to life. A baby boomer, the author reflects on ideological influences in her life through a series of personal essays. Play with her as she discovers sexuality with Barbie, the Beatles, and boys. Travel with her as she falls in love, falls out of love, and travels some more. Sit with her at the feet of a swami. Search with her for safety when she is lost in the woods. Hold her hand through the personal tragedies that teach her important life lessons. And chuckle aloud as she laughs at herself. Rich with historical and cultural context, the essays encourage readers to remember their own adventures, laughter, and lessons—with or without their girlfriends.
