Rest assured, Mike, the word "cozy" will never be used to describe BROKEN HEARTLAND. I would expect the extreme opposite.......more

I.cannot.imagine.plotting.these! Every one of these has multiple characters in addition to the primary ones. And, all these characters have their own subplots!! Roller coaster rides!!......more

Never would describe these books as "cozy" with all the sickening cuteness most cozies seem to have. Intelligent, amusing, good characterization (love the whole crazy crew), and well -written.......more

I still am liking Hayes' books. I almost quit because the beginning was just so familiar, but once it got rolling along, I was hooked.
