Roy Raisor signed up to go to Vietnam before he was even eighteen years old, proudly intending to serve his country and do his patriotic duty. Like many of the young men that served in the Vietnam War, he came face-to-face with a situation entirely different than what he expected.Inside, you will find the story of Roy's time in Vietnam through a first-hand account of his experiences. Written even for those that don't have a military background or much knowledge of the War itself, Roy tells of battles and what really happened on the front lines. He tells all of the good and the bad, and introduces us to some of the men that became life- long brothers-in-arms. He also addresses how PTSD and loss has shaped him into the man he is today.
