Synopsis

When the deadly werewolf Asil is gifted five blind dates by some anonymous “friends,” his reclusive life will never be the same, in this enthralling novel in stories from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Mercy Thompson series.

Includes two all-new stories as well as three previously published stories.

Dear Asil:

We are worried about you. A werewolf alone is a sad thing, especially at Christmastime. So we have a challenge for you: five dates in three weeks. We have taken the work out of it and connected you with five people from online dating sites. You should also know that we have informed the whole pack and instigated a betting pool. Have fun!

Sincerely,
Your Concerned Friends

About Patricia Briggs

Montana born author, Patricia Briggs, has worked her way into a very successful author of fantasy novels. She chose to live mostly in the Pacific Northwest which is not typically the hotbed of authors, but she has managed to live a quieter life and still become a New York Times bestselling author. Her most famous series, Mercy Thompson and the Columbia Basin Pack, we're fictional residents of the area in which she resides, the Tri-Cities Washington.

From 1990 on, Briggs has published 17 novels beginning with traditional fantasy, then in 2006 moving to urban fantasy. A unique mark of her novels is that even in a series, each novel can serve as a stand-alone story without leaving the reader to wonder what happens next.

Briggs also writes the Alpha and Omega series, and they are set in the same environment as the Mercy Thomas series. The most recent of that series debuted in 2012, and came in at #4 on the NYT bestsellers list.

Briggs still lives in Washington state with her husband and children. They have a small herd of horses that they enjoy.

Fantastic! As a HUGE fan of Patricia Briggs, Blind Date with a Werewolf felt like a special dessert! You could read this book without knowing all the players, but why would you when this series—or universe—is so unique? I love Mercy and Anna, the two main characters of the Mercyverse. Both are so disti......more

While the Mercy Thompson books are my favorite, I enjoy all of the books in this series and this was no exception. I think I had read one of the stories before but it had been a minute and it all felt new and I devoured it. Asil is “gifted” with a series of blind dates that end up being far more tha......more

I have loved Asil a.k.a. the Moor since I first read about just how broken the man/wolf really is. He is dangerous and has a tragic history. But...I love a broken character, especially one as pretty and dangerous as he reads. It appears that Asil has some friends that are concerned about his well bei......more
