With over three million copies of her books in print, Janet Dailey is a best-selling author who never fails to captivate. In this first installment of Dailey's highly anticipated Bannon Brothers series, experienced cop RJ Bannon is determined to snag the two-million-dollar reward for finding Ann Montgomery-who went missing as a young girl 25 years earlier. But as more details of Ann's disappearance come to light, local artist Erin Randall's life is put in mortal danger-and RJ must risk everything to protect her.

About Janet Dailey

Janet Dailey was born and raised in the small farming town of Storm Lake, Iowa, and attended secretarial school in Omaha, Nebraska, before meeting her husband and settling in southern Missouri. After publishing her first novel in 1976, she went on to become one of the top-selling female authors in the world, with more than 325 million copies of her books sold in nineteen languages in ninety-eight countries. Dubbed "America's First Lady of Romance" because her groundbreaking novels celebrate the triumphs and struggles of working class women with American values and themes, she is known for her strong, decisive characters, her extraordinary ability to re-create a time and a place, and her unerring courage to confront important, controversial issues in her stories.

This story was okay, not one of the authors better ones. It felt like the ending was abrupt and ran out of steam. So much was left up in the air or unexplained with the Montgomery situation and the hacker not to mention Cutt. It will not be a story that will stick with me.......more
