Synopsis

Rome, May 2011. After the shocking abdication and disappearance of Pope John Paul III, close confidants of the pope are being murdered. Peter Adam, a German journalist, and his American colleague, Loretta, begin to investigate the case. Mario Giordano, the son of Italian immigrants, was born in Munich in 1963 and studied psychology in Düsseldorf. He has written thrillers, books for children, and screenplays. He lives in Berlin.
