Jane Green's Another Piece of My Heart is an unforgettable novel that illuminates the nuances and truths about love, family, and motherhood from the New York Times bestselling author of Jemima J and The Beach House

"A moving story peopled with nuance, sympathetic characters." —Booklist

Andi has spent much of her adult life looking for the perfect man, and at thirty-seven, she's finally found him. Ethan—divorced with two daughters, Emily and Sophia—is a devoted father and even better husband. Always hoping one day she would be a mother, Andi embraces the girls like they were her own. But in Emily's eyes, Andi is an obstacle to her father's love, and Emily will do whatever it takes to break her down. When the dynamics between the two escalate, they threaten everything Andi believes about love, family, and motherhood—leaving both women standing at a crossroad in their lives … and in their hearts.

"You will laugh and cry as you read…It's that good."—Adriana Trigiani, bestselling author of Lucia, Lucia and the Valentine Series

About Jane Green

A former feature writer for the Daily Express in the UK, Jane Green took a leap of faith when she left, in 1996, to freelance and work on a novel. Seven months later, there was a bidding war for her first book, Straight Talking, the saga of a single career girl looking for the right man. The novel was a hit in England, and Green was an overnight success. She's since written many bestselling novels including The Beach House, Second Chance, Jemima J, and Tempting Fate. Most weekends see her cooking for a minimum of twenty people in her home in Westport, Connecticut, where she lives with her husband and their blended family. When she is not writing, cooking, filling her house with friends and looking after their animals, she is usually thanking the Lord for caffeine-filled energy drinks.

Whilst she and Sophia instantly bond, Ethan's older daughter resents the new woman in his life, usurping her mother's rightful role. But Andi is desperat......more

4 is a bit high. But I thought it needed to be separated from the 3's. I related to both Andi and Emily. Andi, being the stepmother is in a precarious position. And Emily, being the teenage brat that I once was. OK, not as bad....but I had my moments. I didn't like how Green changed POV in the second......more
