Anchored in Orkney

One runaway sheep. Two reluctant hearts. A stormy island Christmas no one saw coming.Holly Pippinshaw had one job: fly to Orkney, retrieve her eccentric boss's prized antique bird box, and escape to her grandfather's cozy Edinburgh cottage for a peaceful Christmas. Just Holly, a roaring fire, and enough snacks to see her through the holidays.Simple, right? Not when gale-force winds, canceled ferries, and a ridiculously affectionate sheep named Angus have other plans.Stranded on a windswept island where everyone knows everyone else's business, Holly finds her carefully organized life unraveling faster than a poorly knitted scarf. And then there's Lachlan Marwick—a ruggedly handsome fisherman with a face that could launch a thousand kilts and the disposition of a particularly grumpy lighthouse. He's broody, infuriatingly helpful, and, thanks to an unfortunate twist of fate, her temporary housemate.Between runaway boats, sheep-related disasters, baffling traditions, and enough red yarn to keep the island entangled until Easter, Holly's quiet Christmas becomes anything but.As storms rage and the holiday draws closer, Holly discovers that some things are worth getting stranded for. Especially when the man driving her absolutely bonkers might just be the one who makes her want to stay.Tangled lights. Tangled hearts. And a Christmas that proves the best-laid plans sometimes need a little unraveling.Anchored in Orkney is a cozy, laugh-out-loud holiday romantic comedy filled with quirky characters, unexpected love, Scottish island charm, and one unforgettable sheep.Contains mild language.
