Patricia Davids was born and raised in the farm country of north central Kansas. She enjoyed an idyllic childhood on her parent’s farm with her four brothers, numerous dogs, and beloved horses for company. After retiring from nursing in the NICU, she began writing full time. Some days she misses the babies, but writing keeps her busy. She currently resides with her father on their family farm as his full-time caregiver.
Caroline Shaffer studied theater at the Weber Douglas Academy in London and received her master's degree from the American Conservatory Theater. A voiceover artist in addition to an actor, she has lent her talents to multiple projects ranging from television, film, commercials, and cartoons. An avid reader, she spends her free time reading anything from classics to new releases.
