Harry Turtledove (he/him) is an American fantasy and science fiction writer whom Publishers Weekly has called the "Master of Alternate History." Can’t believe I hadn’t read Turtledove before! Excellent book. As befits a Ph.D in history, there’s a sense that Turtledove meticulously researched the religions in this book along with the historical tensions between them.......more
