The plot for this novel - a child, kidnapped as a two-month old baby, turns up after eight years and in the meantime the parents have divorced - is different and refreshing. Yet another super book by this author and one I read she'd originally written decades ago and just re-jigged a little to make it current. I thought it was great. The premise of the book is that it asks a question how does a family torn apart by a kidnapping deal with reunification? Chad, the kidnapped child, was portrayed as a street smart kid.
