Kasey S. Pipes is a notable biographer and historian who has also served as a speechwriter for California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and President George W. Bush. He currently serves as the Norris Senior Fellow at the Eisenhower Institute of Gettysburg College. A native of Fort Worth, he currently resides in his hometown with his wife, Lacie, and their two sons.
Nixon makes a resilient, interesting subject, and the author crafts vivid descriptions in the beginning. I could have stood for more of that detail is the book went on, although I understand describing Nixon as thinker and writer is probably a challenge.......more
