I'm not an accountant or bookkeeper, but I did need to understand the process. I also didn't want to have to try and find classes to teach me about the basics. 3/10 This is the first "For Dummies" book I've read, and I have to say I'm disappointed. I work in accounting so have a background in much of what is covered here, and have to say that if you were to give this book to a lay person, they would be flummoxed by this account of accounting.
