This is a book where almost nothing happens. I also found the subtle Christian overtones really offensive - be UP FRONT with your agenda, don't hide it in the form of a fictional novel. A relaxing book to read. This is my favorite author. Her books are so easy to read, the plot is interesting with twists and turns, the characters make you feel like they are your friends too, good over evil. I recommend this book and all her others.......more
